Grain of Sand is a blog with poems and reflections on how we experience life and relationships, the choices we make, and the significance of small moments and decisions in a bigger picture. As a lifelong Christian, I write from a faith-based perspective.
I started writing when living in Athens, with my husband and two children, on long term leave from my day job as a civil servant. Now back in the UK working part-time, I am trying to develop it further. I welcome opportunities to contribute articles or poems. Please do get in touch. All views are my own. The name comes from the William Blake quotation, which I have always loved. “To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the Palm of your Hand, And Eternity in an Hour.” Auguries of Innocence.
